Drop-in Sailing Nights
Join us every Tuesday in the summer for recreational dinghy sailing! Bring your own boat or sail one of our Optis, Lasers, or FJs. Prior sailing experience may be necessary depending on conditions.
Sailing Camp
Sailors aged 8 - 14 can learn to sail during a 1 week day camp in the summer. Sailors will learn the basics of sailing focusing on fun and boating safety. Launching, docking, steering, balancing, and propulsion are just some of the activities covered both on and off the water.
Adult Lessons
We have sailing lessons available for beginner and intermediate sailors. Anyone is welcome, whether you have never sailed before or have some experience. Over the course of three evenings or a weekend, our objective is to get people sailing safely and confidently on their own.
Regattas
Race nights and regatta days are hosted throughout the summer. Informal instruction can be provided to participants before some fun races.
Instructor Clinic
This clinic is geared toward future instructors. In a week of training we hope to go over the CANSail curriculum and teach the fundamentals of sailing instruction.
Race Team
Yukon Breeze Sailing Society is starting its very own race team in 2025 - a first in the Yukon! Racing is a great way to improve your sailing understanding, skills and efficiency. There will be two race team sessions, one in June and another in July with 4 nights each.
Private and Special Events
The Yukon Breeze Sailing Society rents out it’s boats for special events including work socials and team retreats.
